Shake what my mommy gave me...

by which I mean my maraca of course... I actually took it from my buddy Daphne (shhh) when our baby group went to Prospect Park together and had a little picnic on april 20th. I had a great time showing the other babies how I could sit up (I only tumbled a couple of times). Everyone was really good on their tummies too!

I went to the playground yesterday and my parents actually pushed me on a swing. I was giggling like a mad scientist. I showed mum and pop how I could swing with the best of em and they told me I'm an old lady now. 7 months gone in a flash... not that I really remember much anyway. I do know that I don't need to be swaddled anymore and my parents are very proud of me. Now I snuggle with my taggie blanket, but it scares mum because I like to pull it over my face to fall alseep. She's always waking me up by moving my blankie... ARG MOMMY! I've gotten into pulling mum and pop's hats off when they try to feed me. They bought me a little brooklyn hat, but now that I've figured out how to take it off I'd like to see them try and keep it on... hahaha. Speaking of touching stuff, I love my daddy's beard.. it's so fuzzy it makes me giggle. Wanna see (too bad cuz here it is):

Word to my Mutha

I am now officially 7 months old, what an old lady I am. Uncle Ed got me some cool clothes from Maggie's Threads yesterday and a lovely sun hat to protect my extremely pale skin (curse you mommy!) I think mommy and I are gunna go to Maggie's for the sing-a-long tomorrow morning. I am super close to crawling, but for now the only move I have is the worm. I can do this way better than the guy in the picture I swear! Seriously, I know how to get around in reverse it's just the foward moving that I find challenging. Soon I will be breakdancing for street cred. Maybe I should freestyle at the sing-a-long tomorrow...

I'm a brooklynite baby -- This is my turf,
My style is sweeter than Mrs Butterworth.
Word to my mother....

here's a video of me trying to do the worm...

Getting Into The Swing of Things...

While mommy went upstate for aunt T's bridal shower, I got to hang out with daddy. Besides for getting a fever from teething we had great times. Daddy dressed me up in all pink and we went for a stroll. I got many compliments on my wardrobe, but I didn't even get to pick it out! In other news I cut my second tooth officially last week, but now it's really starting to come in. I'm onto stage 2 food now, exciting stuff I must say. I've got a new friend named Mr. Dog, he's a puppet who loves to lick my face (and I like to try to eat him!) Here is a picture so you know who I'm talking about...

My mommy hasn't been able to write on behalf of me lately because she's been busy signing up for school. I'm happy that she's going back and that she can take all her classes online so we can still hang out all the time. Mommy brought back some lovely gifts from her trip including an outfit from my GRRREAT aunt Sally and a phantom duck that sings whenever it feel like from aunt Therese. I don't know how long mom and pop are going to be able to put up with this phantom duck, but I love to watch it dance. She got me my first bathing suit too, but the weather is really crummy right now so I can't do backflips off the diving board just yet. To all of my Park Slope baby friends... I miss you guys and can't wait to see you soon, sorry we haven't chilled in a bit. Alright, I need to take a nap and dream about swinging...
